Outgrow Monsanto Maui ~ weeding & harvest party!

Join us, hands in the soil, while we continue our mission to Outgrow Monsanto.
In May, Maui stepped up our fight against Monsanto, with a pledge to actively PLANT THE SOLUTION. Neil Young & Daryl Hannah joined 200 of us on Maui, as we planted 2 acres of sweet potato & taro, and 100 coconut trees on “Field F” at Simpli-Fresh Farms and Farmer’s Market.
This time, we do a little field maintenance…..AND WE HARVEST!!!!
This is a community planting/harvest event, open to EVERYONE. If you came to the first event, come back to see how our food is doing. If you missed the first few events, come and get dirty with us!!
The only solution to the corporate takeover of our food supply, is community based, local farming ~~~ and it’s happening on Maui!
We will work until sunset-ish, and then eat/BBQ potluck style. Please bring food to share, blanket/chairs for yourself, and eating utensils/plates:)
